Position is located in Ashland, Virginia 
Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday from 11:30 am - 10:00 pm; ability to work Fridays and Saturdays when customer demands increase. Math aptitude to include addition, subtraction, ounces and pounds required. Ability to use food scale in preparation of ingredients to be used for Production lines. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously. Position requires standing during entire shift, bending, stooping, twisting, pushing, pulling and the knowledge and skills to safely operate industrial type mixing equipment.
  • Follow company Food Safety Plan.
  • Set up, operate, break down and clean up, monitor all machinery in mixing area.
  • Manufacture all products in mixing area following approved recipe and instructions.
  • Keep work area inspection ready at all times.
  • Ensure work area is fully stocked with appropriate ingredients and supplies before end of shift.
  • Label all product leaving mixing area with production date, time, and English description
  • Participate in SQF Audits
  • Adhere to all (GMP's) Good Manufacturing practices
  • Monitor mixing area to ensure all ingredients and supplies are properly stored and labeled at all times.
  • Complete all supporting documentation properly and accurately, turn in documents in a timely manner.
  • Any other duties as required by Shift Production Manager or senior leadership.
  • Previous Restaurant Kitchen Cook or Food Production Mixing experience a plus.
